Every mix DJ Daddy produces is mixed live in a single take with no computer track editing or 'correction'. This is can be a tedious method but it produces a much more realistic product. A lot of DJs these days, in this digital world, use a lot of different tools to make their mix tapes perfect and flawless. Not DJ Daddy. If the mix isn't right it gets re-done. No pro-tools touch up or Abelton beat syncing. Just pure DJ mix sets the way it should be.
These mix sets were produced live in a single take with no editing or 'corrections'. DJ Daddy turns it on, turns it up and lays it down, then uploads it for your eargasim enjoyment.

This is the first of a series of Industry throwback mix tapes. This music was the sound track to a era of good music and great times. There were originally 14 volumes of Industry mix CDs. Before the digital DJ craze; before this music had a genre like it does today it was Club Music! You came to the club to dance to sounds of a bad ass DJ. That DJ was spinning vinyl he bought at the record store that day. It took raw skill and pure talent to make it happen every night. You didn't want to hear what was on the radio. You wanted to get on that dance floor and sweat to the beat, the up-tempo beat, the electronic beat. Before there was an E-hop, Mash-Up, Dubstep genre it was white labels and bootleg remixes - Club Music! Enjoy.
Some of the music used in this mix set was taken from original vinyl records that were used live in the club for many years. There are some pops and skips; but that gives it character =)
The Banana Joe's era in Birmingham was a WILD time. DJ Daddy put down a 2CD set to cover the broad spectrum of music played during those ridiculous weekends. This mix is disc 2 of the set - the up-tempo mix that will get your party started!
This mix set is CD number 14 out of 14 original mixes produced by DJ Daddy during his 3 year Industry residency.
This music was legendary. This nightclub was infamous, to say the least. DJ Daddy brought to the mainstream in Birmingham a sound that was reserved for the underground scene. The Industry was a ridiculous success due to the hard work, dedication, and raw talent of DJ Daddy. He bought the records the other DJs skipped over and made them dance floor favorites. He poured blood, sweat, and tears into every weekend at Industry making it THE place to be in Birmingham - constantly pushing new music / constantly pushing the envelope. He created an army of loyal fans, and plenty of jealous haters. Genres of music that today seem common place (i.e. mash-ups, e-hop, dubstep, etc) were forced into the eardrums of eager club goers long before they had their own unique nameplate - and you loved every second of it! Legions of DJs got their first taste of that audible addiction with DJ Daddy mixing records. DJs that today wont readily admit to that. But they all know, deep down inside, when DJ Daddy steps into the room they better push their game to the next level or remain an inferior by-product of the DJ Daddy revolution. Intimidation is a high form of flattery.
Long before it was easy & cool to be a DJ, DJ Daddy was mixing records. This Mix CD is a classic example.
